We established the Anesthesia Technology Lab to promote exchange of innovative ideas. Our lab provide software development expertise as well as hardware prototyping. Along with our institution's tech venture office, we are in position to help clinicians bring ideas to the market.
Our main goals are to improve anesthesia care to patients, increase quality and improve outcome, and help clinicians maximize their productivity and satisfaction.
Boston is a diverse healthcare innovation hub allowing collaborations for advance research and development. The number of hospitals, teaching institutions allow us to find suitable facilities to gather necessary requirements and feedback.

Team
Dr Woo is a board certified anesthesiologist with a background in software engineering. Albert has created a commercial mobile AIMS solution in 2009, architected a national quality clinical data repository, and is currently using machine learning and AI in his current projects.
Dr Musucmeci is a board certified anesthesiologist with an expertise in quality. He obtained his MBA from Wharton and was the president/CEO of a large private practice before being the current vice chair of community anesthesia at BIDMC
Dr Ramachandran is a board certified anesthesiologist who is currently the vice chair of quality safety and innovation at BIDMC. Dr. Ramachandran is an innovator in the area of clinical quality. He is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jackson works on identifying and implementing methods for improving quality and patient safety in the healthcare environment. His research currently focuses on applying cognitive science and human factors engineering theories and methods to challenges in the surgical setting with particular focus on individual, team, and system performance assessment.
